WCA’s delighted to announce the appointment of Jen Barwick in the role of Program Manager.
This part-time role will take responsibility for delivering the strategic programs as approved by the WCA National Board. These programs include WCA Influential, amongst others.
Reporting to Executive Officer Jeffrey Wilkinson, Jen will be working on the development and delivery of WCA’s broad and evolving range of professional development and education-based programs, events and information for WCA members.
As well as WCA Influential, WCA programs include its WCA Wine Communicator Awards – to be announced at the upcoming Sydney Royal Wine Show Luncheon on Friday, Feb 14, – the WCA Wine Cadetship and an expanded program of webinars.
Jen is a journalist by profession with a BA Communications from Charles Sturt University and was a former editor of Australian and New Zealand Grapegrower & Winemaker. Having grown up in the Hunter Valley, Jen has had a lifetime interest in the world of wine.
