Wine Australia is presenting A+ One Day Wine School for the first time in Australia and aims to provide a deeper understanding of Australian wine and its regions.
Aaron Brasher from Wine Australia and Philip Rich, Wine Judge and Financial Review Wine Journalist and partner of The Prince Wine Store will be conducting this informative class.
The day will include a structured insight into the climate, micro-climate and geology of the regions; wine production and the current state of the industry. There will be 30 wines in themed tastings, inviting lively discussion throughout.
At the conclusion participants can opt to do an exam comprised of multiple choice and one masked wine. The top 5 participants win a place in the sponsored Trade Immersion Programme travelling for 5 days through the wine regions of the Hunter Valley, Yarra Valley, Rutherglen, King Valley and Langhorne Creek.
Note you must be available to travel Monday 27 May – Sunday 02 June 2013
The A+ One Day Wine School runs from 9.30-5.00pm. Note this event is only for people employed in the broader wine and hospitality industry i.e. retail, marketing and the on-trade.
