Fiano is exactly the kind of wine today’s consumers are chasing. Bright, textural, approachable and delicious – it’s perfect for spring and summer in Australia. Producers are recognising these qualities, as well as the variety’s climate resilience and versatility, and we’re now seeing a growing number of exciting local expressions.

Beginning with the inaugural Fiano Day on Friday 17 October, Fiano Festa is a collaboration among Australian Fiano producers, led by Oliver’s Taranga and Unico Zelo, to tell the story of this variety to Australian wine drinkers. In support of this, Wine Communicators of Australia SA Chapter is hosting a ‘Focus on Fiano’ feature event on Wednesday 22 October.

Come along and hear from some of Australia’s foremost proponents of Fiano about how they’re talking to consumers about this fascinating grape, while sampling some of the leading expressions on the Australian scene right now. Including wines from Artwine, Olivers Taranga, Unico Zelo, Coriole, Hungerford Hill, Freeman Vineyards, Hither & Yon, d’Arenberg, Smidge Wines, Charlotte Dalton Wines, Sew and Sew Wines and more!

Where: Nexus 10 Foyer, 10 Pulteney Street, Adelaide SA 5000
