Join the WCA Victorian Chapter for a wine education experience at four amazing locations in the Yarra Valley on Friday 16th February 2024.

Learn from experts in the field about how to create a memorable cellar door experience and meet some new wine professionals to grow your network. Regional stops will include Rob Dolan Wines, Hubert Estate, Innocent Bystander and Four Pillars Gin.

Stop One.
The Pairing Method is a mini study in gastro physics. Meg Brodtmann, Australia’s first female Master of wine, will guide us through tasting different ingredients which change the flavours, structure, or texture of the Rob Dolan White Label Pinot Noir. These ingredients feature both taste (salt, sweet, bitter, sour and umami) and flavour components and we will choose the favourite elements as a group.

Stop Two.
At Innocent Bystander, we’ll embrace the spirit of exploration at their urban cellar door, restaurant, and bar in Healesville. This stop includes a locally inspired lunch and wine tasting.

Stop Three.
What can wine learn from spirits? Well, if we’re learning from Cam McKenzie at Four Pillars probably a lot. Named world’s best gin three times, it’s not just great tasting gin that gets you this far. It’s a distillery experience and hospitality like no other. We’ll enjoy a G&T tasting and Q&A with Cam.

Stop Four.
In 2022 St Hubert’s relaunched their new contemporary cellar door setting the stage for our final stop. We’ll have a wine tasting hosted by winemaker Greg Jarratt and a Q&A from the Business Manager Tony Layton.

This full day expedition departs Melbourne CBD at 8.45am and returning at 6pm.
