For the first time ever the Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria in partnership with Wine Communicators of Australia will hold The Jimmy Watson Trophy Lunch in the new Victoria Pavilion, Melbourne Showgrounds.

Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy eight of the 2019 trophy winning wines, paired in flights with a three course lunch, followed by a tasting of the newly awarded 2019 Jimmy Watson winning wine. 

At this event WCA will announce the 2019 Victorian Legend of the Vine recipient. This prestigious award recognises an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the Australian Wine Industry. Past winners include local legends; 2018 Jeni Port, 2017 Eric Vivian Thomson, 2016 Kathleen Quealy.

All guests will receive an invitation to participate in the 57 year tradition by joining the winemakers in continuing their celebrations at Jimmy Watson’s iconic Carlton Wine Bar.
