Terms & Conditions of Entry – 2026 WCA SA RAFFLE

  1. WCA / Licence
  • This raffle is run by Wine Communicators of Australia Ltd (“WCA”) under SA lottery licence number M15090
  • Net proceeds from ticket sales will be used by WCA to deliver its education and networking initiatives for the wine industry.
  1. Eligibility
    • Entry is open to people aged 18 years or over.
    • WCA Directors, management or members cannot enter if they are involved in running the raffle.
  2. Tickets / How to Enter
    • Tickets are priced at $30 for 1 ticket. Prices for multiple tickets are $75 for 3 tickets (discount $5 per ticket) and $200 for 10 tickets (discount $10 per ticket).
    • Tickets will be available for purchase at the event: Royal Adelaide Wine Awards Lunch on 9 October 2026 between 11.30am and 3.00pm.
    • Each ticket gives an equal chance of winning a prize.
    • The maximum number of tickets for this raffle will be [1,000]. Tickets will be individually numbered.

      • WCA – Six bottles of award winning wine, mixed red and white wines – $427
      • The Lane Vineyard – The Gathering Experience for 4 people – $320
      • DeBortoli – 1 signed botte of Noble One Botrytis Semillon 1990 – $300
  4. Draw Details
    • The draw will be held on 9 October 2026 between 3.00pm and 3.30pm, at Ridley Centre, Adelaide Showgrounds, Wayville, South Australia.
    • Winners will be determined by random draw, with prizes drawn in descending order of value.
    • Prior to the draw, all unsold tickets, returned ticket butts, and payment from ticket sales must be in the hands of the WCA.
  5. Collection of Prizes
    • Winners will be notified in person at the event, or by phone or email within 7 days of the draw.
    • Prizes must be collected at the event, or delivery by post may be arranged if necessary.
    • If a prize is not claimed within 60 days, it will become an unclaimed prize, and WCA may return the prize to the donor.
  6. Advertising
    All advertisements for this raffle will include:

    • the licence number;
    • the nature and value of the prizes;
    • how to obtain a full copy of these terms and conditions;
    • the total number of tickets available.

  8. Privacy & Records
    • Any personal information collected (names and contact details) will be used only for conducting the raffle and arranging delivery of prizes.
    • The buyer’s name and contact details will be recorded and retained by the WCA for 3 months.
  9. Liability
    • The WCA is not responsible for lost or late entries, or entries not properly recorded due to fault of the entrant.
    • Any tax liability arising from winning a prize is the responsibility of the winner.
  10. General
    • The WCA reserves the right to cancel or alter the raffle if something outside their control happens.
    • By entering, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
