NSW Q&A Panel Series: How wine went digital during COVID
6 August 2020 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm AEST
It’s been quite the year for the wine industry.
From the summer bushfires to the COVID-19 pandemic, recent events have forced wineries and wine brands to pivot in the blink of an eye.
In-person experiences, like cellar door tastings, restaurant dining and events, have had to pause, with digital and social experiences quickly becoming the single most important channel for brands to connect with their audience. In this webinar, we hope to reflect on the past few months and how brands, business owners and content creators have had to diversify or improve their offerings to keep afloat.
Our featured panel includes:
- Alex Anderson, Community & Wine Manager, Good Pair Days
- Jane Thomson, Founder of The Fabulous Ladies’ Wine Society & the Australian Women in Wine Awards
- Richard Owens, Founder & CEO of WithWine.com
- Moderated by Christine Ricketts, Cellar Director of Cellarmasters and WCA NSW Committee Member
Our panel will examine lessons learned from recent events, how brands have succeeded in the challenging climate, and look ahead to how these lessons will impact the Australian wine industry in the future.
The panel will be conducted as a Zoom meeting. Following the discussion, guests will be invited to join in the Q&A session at the end, opening the discussion to all members of the session for a more engaging panel event. So bring a glass of wine and login for what we hope will be an insightful discussion.
