Please join WCA for the premier wine lunch event on the South Australian Wine Calendar, which will be held in the Ridley Centre at the Wayville Showgrounds. Ticket holders will have the opportunity to experience the full breadth of the wines entered into the esteemed Royal Adelaide Wine Show during the VIP tasting. Afterwards, you will be treated to a sumptuous three course meal accompanied by trophy and award-winning wines.

We are shaking things up a little this year, so be sure to come along and experience the new format lunch style. The lunch will have a more relaxed ‘long lunch’ feel featuring long tables instead of rounds with tables of 10 having 5 guests each side. The plated main meal will be complimented by share platters for the entree and cheese courses encouraging greater interaction.

WCA will announce the 2018 South Australian ‘Legend of the Vine’. This prestigious award recognises an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the Australian wine industry and helped take its message to the world. The recipient of this prestigious award will be announced at the lunch as well as the WCA sponsored Best Shiraz in Show.

This year, the Royal Agricultural and Horticultural Society of South Australia will be presenting three trophies at the lunch (Max Schubert AM Trophy for Most Outstanding Red Wine in Show, George Fairbrother Memorial Trophy for Most Outstanding White Wine in Show and the Gramp Hardy Hill Smith Provenance Prize).
