2018 Wine Communicators of the Year Awards Ceremony recognising excellence in Wine Communications.

These awards have been created to acknowledge outstanding contribution to, and excellence in, wine communication in all its forms. They recognise and promote quality wine content while also rewarding individuals who lead by example and demonstrate respect for the wine industry and its consumers, and uphold the professional standards valued by Wine Communicators of Australia (WCA).

The 2018 Awards ceremony will be held in the Gourmet Traveller WINE Wine Space in Surry Hills, Sydney adjacent to the Gourmet Traveller WINE office.

The Gourmet Traveller WINE Wine Space, is a purpose built function area that has been carefully thought out to provide a much-needed event hub for wine lovers and the wine industry alike. 

You will be treated to wines from the WCA cellars, canapes and shared platters will be provided.

Our MC this year will be International Lady of Wine, Rebecca Hopkins.  Born and raised in the McLaren Vale, and a graduate of Wine Business School from the University of Adelaide, Hopkins has built a successful and celebrated national and international career in wine communications and strategy spanning 25 years.

In 2007 she joined the Hardy Wine Company (now Constellation Brands) and re-located to San Francisco, U.S.A. The international move has since see her star rise leading to senior roles at wine importer Folio Fine Wine Partners and then Colangelo & Partners, a fine wine and spirits communications agency.
