Wine Communicators of Australia (WCA) are delighted to announce that the flagship Sydney Royal Wine Show Trophy Winners Lunch is back on the wine industry calendar in 2021, following the event postponement in August due to the lockdown in NSW.

The lunch will be held at Doltone House Hyde Park on Thursday 16 December, 12.30pm – 3.30pm

The WCA Sydney Royal Wine Show Trophy Winners Lunch provides a chance to immerse yourself in this year’s trophy and award winning wines and hear from the Chair of Judges PJ Charteris, while enjoying a delicious three-course meal.

This year’s Master of Ceremonies is Iain Riggs AM, a wine industry veteran, former Sydney Royal Wine Show Chairman/Chief Judge and 2017 WCA Legend of the Vine recipient.

WCA is also delighted to welcome Impresstik Labels as the official sponsor for the 2021 lunch. Impresstik are a long-term supplier of premium labels to the wine industry and being owned by Print Media Group, allows them to also offer a diverse suite of print solutions to its customers. WCA is excited to be partnering with an Australian owned and operated group that contributes much to the success of the Australian wine community.

A highlight of the day is the announcement of the winner of the NSW Legend of the Vine.  This prestigious award recognises an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the Australian wine industry.  Previous winners include: Lyndey Milan OAM, Huon Hooke, Clive Hartley,  Iain Riggs AM, Rob Hirst and David Lowe.

Along with enjoying noteworthy, award and trophy winning wines, guests will have the opportunity to win fantastic raffle prizes and celebrate in style with over 200 guests from all walks of the wine industry. Following the event, everyone is welcome to celebrate with after-party drinks at a nearby venue.
